Weeding out the Woodland

There are a number of challenges to be faced at Little Acre, the complete redesign of the main garden, the digging over and re establishment of the kitchen garden, the thinning of the woodland, yet prior to addressing any of these there is an overriding need to tackle the presence of highly invasive perennial weeds […]

Wildlife, If you build it….they will come

With having two young boys, things that crawl, slime and buzz are regular features in our lives. One of the drivers for moving to a house on a decent sized plot was to create an area dedicated to wildlife so our kids could learn first hand about nature. I spent the early part of my […]

Gorgeous run across the heathland this morning. A light dusting of snow christened the ground as the rising sun danced patterns across the broken clouds allowing glimpses of the blue sky beneath. #stopandbreathe #morningrun #mindfulness #goodforthesoul #findpeaceinthelittlethings #startthedayright
Just to jump on the frost photo bandwagon.....grabbed the thermals and headed out into the heathland this morning. As Sunday mornings go there’s no better way to set you up for the day. Love how the gorse flowers come into their own amongst the frost, adding a much needed highlight to the landscape. #natureisawesome #sundaywalks #heathland #frostylandscape #frost #landscapephotography #gorse #winterflowers #stopandbreathe
